SRG Recreational Program class rules (All parents must read and agree before signing up)

Session Dates: January 8th to March 29th, 2024. No classes on January 12th Fri, January 13th Sat and February 17th Saturday to 25th Sunday (SPS Mid-Winter Break). No reminder will be sent, so please kindly put this No lesson days into your calendar now! Tuition is prorated accordingly.

Location: 4430 Corliss Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98103 (Entrance from Corliss Ave, behind USPS)

Age Requirement: Gymnasts must meet the age requirement on the first day of the session. Please refrain from registering if this criterion is not met. Any mistaken payments will be refunded, minus the PayPal handling fee.

Dress Code:

Leotard (SRG T-shirts, $20, and leggings are also approved)
Long hair must be tied (ponytail, pigtails, braids, or bun)
Socks are mandatory (Rhythmic shoes of this type are also accepted): [Link]
No barefoot to prevent the spread of HFMD

Parents Observation Policy:

Shining Stars, Shooting Stars, Super Stars: First and last session days open to parents. Other days, drop off only.
Twinkle Stars (4-5yo): A parent must be present in the gym during the lesson. Limited seating available; please keep young siblings on laps.

What to bring:

Masks may be required during the lesson if symptoms appear

What to Bring:

Water bottle (no water fountain available)

Arrival and Pickup Policy:

Gate/Door opens exact 5 minutes before class starts

Parking:

Street parking available along by Corliss ave. Our building entrance faces Corliss Ave.
No driving through or temporary parking in front of the gym or the apartment complex

Lesson Terms:

Minimum 4 students for class commencement; maximum 7 students per instructor/coach
No refunds for missed classes; tuition prorated for mid-session joiners
No refunds for cancelled classes(For severe weather or power outage etc); students will have option to attend make up classes or SRG lesson credit that is valid for 6 months.
Make-up lessons offered maximum once per seasonal session with advance notice (subject to class availability, example Saturday twinkle stars student’s make up lesson option is Friday Twinkle stars class only since those are the only Twinkle stars)

Payment made by non-current-Fall-session students will be refunded minus Paypal handling fee

Other information:

SRG reserves the right to change coaches during the seasonal session without prior notice. Substitute or alternate coaches may be used.
Temperature checks upon entry (99°F and higher, or showing symptoms like cough or fever, will be asked to stay home)
Masks may be required during the lesson if symptoms appear

Program : Happy Stars Rhythmic Gymnastics for 4-7 Year Olds (Beginners)
Happy Stars is a fun class for kids aged 4 to 7. It’s great for younger kids (4-5) who are already good at sports, and older kids (6-7) who are just starting. It’s also perfect for families with two kids in this age range, making it easier to bring them together. In Happy Stars, kids will learn gymnastics in a friendly and supportive environment.

Program : Super Stars – Rhythmic Gymnastics 6yo and older Advanced Rhythmic Gymnastics (To enroll in this class, please obtain approval from our coaching team. You can reach out to us at info@seattlerhythmic.com for permission. This class is designed for gymnasts who can confidently perform a front or middle split and bridge from a standing position. It’s important to note that this class will include a focus on conditioning and ballet training, which, while essential, may be less exciting for younger gymnasts. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to developing these fundamental skills.)
